Everyone falls out with friends from time to time and, occasionally, people can be unkind or angry. However, sometimes unkind or angry behaviour can become bullying.

At Highcliffe Primary, we define bullying as unkind actions that :

  • Are repeated and go on over time;
  • Are deliberate and not accidental;
  • Involve the person doing the bullying having some sort of power over the person experiencing the bullying.

Bullying can include physical hurting, leaving people out, as well as damaging people’s things and making fun of people.

Our School Council has produced a leaflet that you can find in your classroom to help you if you feel you are being bullied.

The main thing to do is TELL SOMEONE AT SCHOOL OR HOME!
